Pastor Sonny Flowers

Sonny Flowers is the Associate Pastor of Family Ministries. Sonny has a heart for the youth here at River Oaks and began working part-time in 1999 to build an active youth group. He is still very involved with the youth ministry, and has taken them on short-term mission trips to places such as Jamaica, Kenya, and Argentina, along with several areas in the United States. Sonny also oversees ministries in the church involving congregational care, counseling, and Noah’s Ark.

Sonny and his wife, Trish, have been married since 1983. Trish has been the Executive Office Administrator on the ROCC staff since its beginning. They have a grown daughter, Sunnie Leigh, and a son, Trey, who is in high school.

Youth Minister
Aaron Elmore

Aaron is the Associate Youth Minister at River Oaks. After graduating with a degree in Youth Ministry from John Brown University, Aaron joined the staff at ROCC in June 2006.

Aaron and his wife Sarah have been married since 2005. He enjoys golf, reading, disc golf, playing cards, teaching, and hanging out with students.
